- Combining in-situ wildlife data, remotely sensed and GIS derived habitat metrics with distribution modeling to determine where and how wildlife uses habitat

- Multispectral and radar based characterization of intertidal sediment size
- Modeling intertidal shorebird habitat in northern Brazil and Bahia Lomas, Chile
- Remote sensing of offshore oil-spill in northern Brazil with Sentinel 1 radar data
